I love smoothies. It’s a quick way to get tons of fruit and veggies in quickly in the morning. Absolutely my wake-up juice. I don’t really like eating anything early in the morning, but juice, bring it on! I’ve been loving my smoothies so much that I’ve even added them to my nightly routine lately.
I love my chocolate cherry smoothie. That’s my go-to, though during the summer I try to branch out and add in some other flavors. If I’m sick or feel it coming on, I’ll change it up too. I can’t tell you how many bags of frozen fruit I’ve gone through! I seem to be buying them every other week. Just think of all the nutrients you could be getting into your body in a quick, tasty way.
Sometimes I’ll add a few things like Fibergy to my smoothie or a little protein powder if I need an extra boost. The fruit and veggies have a lot, but if I feel like I need to detox or am super hungry, I’ll add these to it. They are great products, so the flavor doesn’t change much.
I was first introduced to smoothies through Simple Green Smoothies. While I had tried plenty before, these were the first ones I actually loved. This is a great place to start if you want to begin your day with a large serving of fruits and veggies.
