Drowning in the Light

It’s like a huge weight being released off of your shoulders. Its transmuted into something new. A light free version. One where you can embrace the old and welcome in the new. One where you can look at it, hear it, feel it, and yet not be ashamed. Not be held back. Not be embarrassed. Not hide it from the world.

This is for me just as much as it is for you.

Dive into the shadows and pull yourself up.

Don’t push for the surface, just sink. Let the water carry you away. Don’t worry if it feels like you’ll never reach the surface. You have to release all the weights holding you down. If you keep fighting upward with the weights holding you down, you’ll never reach the surface, you’ll only tire yourself out. Release the weights first and then easily touch the light when you’re ready.

What if you didn’t need to reach the surface?

What if you didn’t need to struggle towards the light?

What if rising, meant sinking first?
